There are a multitude of tents, most of the popular ones being floored tents. Floored tents include a floor for your tent, most commonly being made of the same material as the outside of the tent. Floored tents keep dry, and you do not have to worry about sleeping on grass, dirt, rocks, or what ever terrain you experience while camping. Floored tents are normally more expenive that floorless tents.
Floorless tents make up the minority of camping tents. Floorless tents are normally cheaper because they cost less material to make, but they come with the con of having nothing to seperate yourself from the ground of whatever enviroment you are in. I would reccomend a floored tent, due to them being able to keep much more insects and pests out, rather than a floorless tent.
